TGA Disclosure
Last updated: 12 May 2026
This disclosure applies to advertising and marketing materials produced by Indelible for clients in the cosmetic injectable and aesthetic medicine sectors.
Our approach to TGA compliance
All advertising materials produced for clients who offer Schedule 4 therapeutic goods, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and other prescription cosmetic treatments, are reviewed against the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code 2018 (the Code) administered by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
What this means in practice
When we build a website or produce digital marketing content for an aesthetic clinic, we apply the following standards:
- No claims are made that a Schedule 4 medicine treats, cures, or prevents any condition without appropriate substantiation
- Before and after imagery for injectable treatments is handled in accordance with Section 20 of the Code
- Patient testimonials and endorsements for Schedule 4 medicines are not included
- Pricing is presented in a manner consistent with Code requirements
- Practitioner qualifications are disclosed where required
- Required warnings and disclaimers are included where specified by the Code
Scope of our review
Our TGA compliance review covers the website and digital marketing content we produce. It does not extend to:
- Content added by the client after handover
- Social media posts created independently by the client
- Verbal claims made by practitioners in clinic
- Print or offline materials not produced by us
Clients who modify website content or add new pages after handover are responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with the Code.
Retainer clients
Aesthetic Foundation retainer clients receive ongoing TGA compliance monitoring as part of their monthly service. This includes review of any new content we produce and periodic checks of existing pages against Code updates.
Limitations
We are a digital studio, not a legal firm. Our compliance review is conducted in good faith against our understanding of the Code at the time of delivery. We recommend that clients with complex regulatory questions seek advice from a solicitor or regulatory consultant with specific TGA expertise.
The TGA Advertising Code is subject to change. We apply the version current at the time of delivery. Changes to the Code after delivery are outside the scope of Foundation packages but are covered by the Aesthetic Foundation retainer.
Reporting a concern
If you believe any content produced by Indelible does not comply with the TGA Advertising Code, please contact us at [email protected] before lodging a complaint with the TGA. We will investigate and address any legitimate concerns promptly.
